Xenia Anagnostou
Welcome to Ocean Xenia, the personal portfolio of Xenia Anagnostou, a marine conservationist dedicated to protecting our oceans and inspiring others to do the same. Through research, education, and advocacy, Xenia works to ensure a sustainable future for marine ecosystems and raise awareness about the urgent challenges facing our oceans.
Her work bridges science and storytelling, connecting people, especially children, with marine life and encouraging meaningful action to reduce threats like plastic pollution, overfishing, and habitat loss.

The Illustrator
The illustrator Steve Evans has many years experience in children’s book illustration.
From working with the major publishing houses and first time authors, to creating bespoke artworks, his flair for bringing characters and story worlds to life is exceptional.
His recent works have included: the‘Collins Picture Atlas of the Stars’, ‘Tank the ToothFairy’, ‘Scroll the Troll’ and now ‘The Whale That Spoke’. He has also been working onthe 10th anniversary edition of his Collins Children’s Picture Atlas
